Services · Build
Building your design — after we have reviewed the drawings.
For landowners who already have a resolved design from another architect and want BV to build it. Before preparing a quotation, BV reviews the drawings first: are they complete enough to build from, are structure and MEP coordinated, and which decisions are still open. Without that review, a quotation is only a guess.
When you need this service
- 01
Your design is finished and working drawings are available.
- 02
You want a quotation priced from the drawings, not from a per-m² rate alone.
- 03
You want to know which parts of the drawings still need completing before building.
- 04
You want construction, changes and workmanship to be clearly documented.
The first step
A drawing review before any quotation.
A good design is not always ready to build. The review separates what is settled from what is still open, before any figure is agreed.
- Completeness
Completeness
Whether the working drawings, details and specifications are enough to price and build from.
- Consistency
Consistency
Whether architecture, structure and MEP agree with each other on paper.
- Open decisions
Open decisions
Materials, finishes or systems not yet decided, and their effect on cost.
What we will not do
- Build from incomplete drawings without a review.
- Give a final price from floor plans or 3D visuals alone.
- Change the design on site without your approval.

What shapes the cost
Construction cost is calculated from the quantities in the drawings, material specifications, site conditions, and the structural and MEP systems. That is why figures come after the drawing review. Anything the drawings leave open is listed openly as an assumption or allowance, not hidden in the price.

Can BV price my drawings straight away?
Not before the drawings are reviewed. The review makes sure quantities, specifications and coordination are clear enough to price, so the quotation does not shift heavily halfway through.
What if my drawings are incomplete?
We list what needs completing. You can complete it with your original designer, or ask BV to do it as a separate design scope. BV does not build from incomplete drawings without a review.
Who is responsible for the design?
The original designer, unless agreed otherwise in writing. BV is responsible for building to the drawings, specifications and contract, and raises changes as variation orders.
